Main jet, needle, clip & air screw by weather for KTM SX, EXC & XC 2005–2027
For the weather right now and your bike, this app gives you the jetting for your carbureted KTM two-stroke: the main jet and the needle and air setting —needle type, clip position, pilot jet and air screw turns.
It covers 27 KTM models from 2005 to 2027, from 50 to 300 cc —SX, EXC, XC, XC-W and MXC—, each with its own Dell'Orto, Keihin or Mikuni carburettor. The main jet it recommends is always one that exists for that carburettor.
You can bring the weather from the nearest station using the phone's location, or type it in yourself. It works without coverage too: the whole calculation happens on the phone.
THE FOUR SCREENS
· Results. The main jet in large type, with the exact value from the calculation and the two sizes either side of it; the needle and its clip, the pilot jet and the air screw; air density and density altitude. Two fine tunings, a tenth at a time: one for the main jet and one for the needle and air, to adapt the recommendation to your bike. From here you save the ride to the logbook or share the setting as an image.
· Conditions. Temperature, pressure, humidity and altitude. Bring them from the nearest station or type them in; the app tells you how long ago the data was measured, so you know whether it is stale.
· Engine. The year and model of your KTM, with its carburettor, and the oil ratio of the mix.
· Logbook. Every ride keeps what the app recommended and what you actually fitted, where it was and how it went low, mid and high, plus your notes. Export it to CSV for a spreadsheet, back it up and import it on another phone, including a backup from the iPhone app.

· Mix calculator: give it the fuel and the oil and it gives you the ratio, or the other way round. In litres, millilitres, gallons or ounces.
· Units your way: ºC and ºF, metres and feet, mb, hPa, mmHg and inHg.
· Dark mode.
PERMISSIONS
Only two, and both optional:
· Location, to find the nearest weather station. Without it you type the weather in and the app works the same.
· Internet, to query that station.
The app collects no personal data. Your logbook stays on your phone.
The values are a starting point: they come from each model's jetting charts, and every bike has its own character. That is what the fine tunings are for.
